To perform the functions of a collecting agency of the Government of NWFP in respect of the following taxes:-

  Urban Immovable Property Tax
  Motor Vehicle Tax
  Motor Vehicle Registration Fee
  Entertainment Duty
  Tax On Trade, Calling And Profession
  Provincial Excise Duty
  Registration Of Motor Vehicle Dealers And Real Estate Agents
  Registration Of Video Cassette Shops
  Tobacco Development Cess
  Hotel Tax
  Checking And Seizure Of Narcotics And All Types Of Illicit Drugs
