Schemes and Future Plans

The goal of Provincial Government is to speedily expand the technical education facilities through out the province especially in those districts/ towns where these facilities are not presently available. In this context the following new schemes have been reflected in the ADP 2005-2006:

  1. Establishment of Polytechnic Institute at Chitral and Kohistan.
  2. Establishment of Govt Technical & Vocational Centre (Boys) at Dargai, Malakand.
  3. Provision of 30 computers to Govt College of Commerce, Bannu.
  4. Purchase of Equipment and furniture to Govt Technical & Vocational Centre (Women) Bannu.
  5. Construction of Teacher hostel at Govt. Technical & Vocational Centre (Boys) Bannu.
  6. Up gradation of Govt College of Commerce to the level of Colleges of Management Sciences at Bannu and Swat.
  7. Purchase of land for Govt, Commercial Training Institute, Tank.
  8. Establishment of Govt, Polytechnic Institute (Women) D.I.Khan.
