Board of Revenue, NWFP (Stamps Wing) is the controlling agency for the supply of all Revenue Stamps, both judicial and non judicial which is the source of Provincial Revenues. The Board of Revenue places the supply of non judicial and judicial stamps for printing to the Chief Controller of Stamps Karachi. This is based on forecasting supplies both judicial and non judicial stamps to all Treasuries in NWFP.

To inspect all division/district offices for auditing supplied Provincial Taxation Stamps i.e. Arms/Driving/Motor Vehicle fitness certificates and route permits.
To inspect all Treasuries in NWFP, in relation to the non judicial and judicial stamps received by them from the Chief Controller of Stamps, Karachi.

To destruct all obsolete, unserviceable and spoiled stamps that forms part of the stock of stamps in Treasuries.
