Introduction
After the establishment of
Science and Technology & Information Technology
department on October 2, 2002 the need was
felt so for operationalisation of the IT related
projects in the Province. The Directorate
for Information Technology was established
in May 2004 with the mandate to implement
and operationalise the objectives of the Science
and Technology & Information Technology
department.
The Directorate is headed by a Director with
the supporting staff who manages the overall
activities of the Directorate.
