Introduction
The origin of this project stems from
the problem the Provincial Government
was facing in pursuing the pending court
cases in the Services Tribunal. Due
to failure in proper preparation for
the court cases, attendance by the relevant
department and monitoring of implementation
of decisions, the Government was suffering
financial losses. It was agreed with
the Services Tribunal that it will be
assisted with computerization of court
record essential portions of which will
be available online for Government and
lawyers pleading the cases. The Services
Tribunal will be provided with equipment,
training, staff and software. It is
expected that the system when implemented
will provide timely information to the
concerned Government Departments and
the applicant parties to prepare or
take required action. The system will
also help both the Services Tribunal
and the Government in keeping a proper
record of the cases.
