Transport Section

To manage and maintain Transport Pool in the Establishment & Administration Department.
To carryout repairs in the pool vehicles of Establishment & Administrations Department.
To act as Drawing / Disbursing officer for matters connected with provision of POL and repairs to pool vehicles in the Administration.
To process cases for authorization of transport to officers / Prime Minister of Pakistan to the Province.
To arrange and provide vehicles on the eve of visit of President / Prime Minister of Pakistan to the Province.
To arrange and manage the auction of vehicles of the entire Provincial Government Department.
To manage and operate the workshop located in the Garage of Establishment & Administration Department.
To purchase vehicles for Provincial Ministers, Advisors and Special Assistant to Chief Minister.
Matters pertaining to the duties, discipline and maintenance of record of the drivers.
Security of the Garages.
Maintenance of log books of all the vehicles.
To identify and dispose of surplus vehicles.
To retrieve surplus vehicles from the various department.
To collect surplus vehicles from the closed projects.
To issue POL to the pool vehicles in accordance with entitlement of the Minister / officer concerned.
To pursue cases of auctioned vehicles with the concerned Administrative Department.
To monitor the misuse of Provincial Government vehicles.
Maintenance of history sheets of pool vehicles.
all matters connected with the Transport Policy of the Provincial Government.
Follow up action of audit paras pertaining to Transport Section.
