Dealing and Agreements with other countries and International Organizations in matters relevant to the Population Planning Program

Collection, Maintenance and Analysis of Demographic and Population Statistics.

Acquiring Storing and Dispatching supplies for the Program

Organizing and Operating information and Education Services for the furtherance of Program objectives

Training in the field of Population Planning in Pakistan and Abroad

Technical Coordination and the formulation of Policy Governing the manufacture, use and quality control of contraceptive material in Pakistan under the Program

Research in different aspects of the Programs such as Clinical, Social, Communication and Demography

Promotion of Population Planning activities through Public Sector Agencies and Infrastructure Institutions, Hakims, NGOs, etc.

Secretariat Functions of the National Council for Population Welfare Planning

Coordination with Ministries/Departments for:

The systematic introduction of Population Education; and

The Introduction of Financial and Regulatory Incentives and Disincentives favoring Population Planning.
